A reason to come back every day.
A community calendar, daily word games, photo and story contests, listener accounts and email lists, so listeners open the app between shows.
Calendar, games, contests and accounts.
Radio is local. These apps make the station the place your community checks first.
A community calendar
List or month views filtered by type, event pages with maps and add-to-calendar for Google, Apple and Outlook, and an .ics feed.
Events from the community
A public submit-an-event form creates drafts for staff to approve, and an admin calendar shows events and stories by day.
Daily games
An unscramble, a Wordle-style word, a mini crossword, a spelling bee, word search and sudoku, with streaks, share cards that never spoil the answer, opt-in leaderboards and a sponsor spot.
Language learning games
Daily lessons, listen-and-choose and matching games with recorded speakers, for tribal and heritage language programs. Only approved words are shown.
Photo and story contests
Photos or a photo essay with a written or recorded story. Location data is removed, and entries stay private until staff accept them.
Listener accounts
Sign in with your community’s or region’s single sign-on to like, share, follow topics and programs and save events, with a delete-my-data button.
Email lists
One signup for every list, a preferences page and one-click unsubscribe.
Local weather
Current conditions, a 7-day forecast and alerts from the National Weather Service.
Colors listeners choose
Twelve color themes visitors can pick, every one meeting WCAG AA contrast.
Something new every day.
Daily games and the community calendar give listeners a reason to open the app between shows. Anyone can submit an event, and staff approve it before it posts.

Community questions
